In addition to working on her novels, Emily is a freelance writer and communications specialist with a focus on the lifestyle and not-for-profit sectors. 

With a background in creative writing, marketing and public relations, Emily's work ranges from facilitating writing and drama workshops in prisons and children's secure centres, through to the development and management of omnichannel communication strategies for business both large and small.  

Freelance clients have included Cure Cancer, Australian Red Cross, Royal Far West, Fairfax Media, Merivale, Suncorp Australia, IMG, Loan Market, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and Paspaley.

Emily is available for freelance writing projects, copywriting, content consultation & creation, proof reading, editing and subediting assignments.
